Elm Hall

This project was to waterproof several courtyards and outdoor areas as well as waterproofing the loading dock where large trucks would be driving on waterproofing system. The architect had specified a mastic asphalt roofing system that would protect the building for many years to come. Mastic Asphalt is durable, strong, and flexible enough to handle some movement within today’s modern structures. This building was unique as the parts of it were assembled in pods to save construction times and costs.

SOLUTION
Asphaltech carried out the areas in various stages due to the method of construction. The exposed areas to the front were painted with a waterproofing solar reflective paint. The decks were covered with tiles on pedestals and the carpark was laid with mastic asphalt waterproofing and covered with a hot mix wear layer.

A complete QA package was handed over to the client at the end of the project showing sign off sheets and pictures of complicated details during construction.

Let’s talk about waterproofing your project.
