John Simmons - Managing Director

John is the Managing Director of both Neuchatel & its sister company Nuralite Waterproofing Ltd.

In managing two of the leading waterproofing companies in New Zealand, he is dedicated to maintaining their existing high standards in waterproofing systems. Prior to this role, John was the General Manager of SKY Network Television for 5 years. This role taught him the disciplines for running a good team and the skills to implement the processes necessary to ensure projects are delivered as promised.

Andrew Smith – Specialist Technical Advisor/Project Manager

With 25 years international roofing experience and qualifications in flat roofing, Andrew provides a wealth of insight on any Mastic Asphalt job.

At Neuchatel Andrew provides an independent sounding board for Architects, Builders and Applicators alike. He also oversees and performs quality control checks to ensure the end result is one that Neuchatel is justifiably proud of. Andrew has worked for Neuchatel since 2003. Prior to this he was a Flat Roofing Supervisor for Briggs Roofing & Cladding in the UK. His most well known Mastic Asphalt projects include London Tower Bridge, Harrods & the British Museum.

Andrew attained his City & Guilds in Amastic Asphalt from Hackney Building Technology College in 1986.

George Griffiths is the managing director of Asphaltech Ltd, Asphaltech Ltd are licensed applicators of Neuchatel who specialise in the application of mastic asphalt and torch on membranes.

With over 20 years experience in the roofing and waterproofing industry George established Asphaltech ltd in New Zealand in 2006 to meet the rise in demand for high quality waterproofing within the construction industry. Asphaltech’s mission is to provide a high quality service to its clients with a high level of safety. In its endeavour to do so Asphaltech, has recently invested in state of the art machinery, has invested in a high quality ongoing staff training programme and will continue to use its quality control systems with integrity.

Overall Asphaltech Ltd will work in partnership with Neuchatel to provide the client with a high quality product and service.
